JOE HENRY BOOKER

Joe Booker is a Cambridge-based actor and First Class Honours graduate of Anglia Ruskin University. He works across stage and screen, with a particular focus on emotionally truthful performance and character-led storytelling. His credits include leading roles in a range of short films and productions associated with the National Film and Television School, and he has also gained on-set experience within high-end television environments, including productions connected to Apple TV+ and Prime Video—building a solid understanding of professional set culture, pace, and expectations.

Alongside acting, Joe writes and develops film ideas as part of his broader creative practice, using filmmaking to explore atmosphere, emotion, and alternative narrative form. He values collaboration and experimentation, and is committed to making ambitious work with the people and resources available locally. Joe has contributed to multiple award-winning and nominated projects, including work recognised through the NAHEMI Student Film Awards, and is versatile across genres and performance styles—from physically demanding roles to quieter, internal character work—bringing precision, presence, and emotional clarity to each performance.
